VPNON Editorial Team
We are the editorial team of the VPNON VPN service. There are five of us, and we have worked in cybersecurity since 2019: we investigate cyber incidents, analyze leaks and data breaches, and study vulnerabilities. We know how hacks happen and where stolen data ends up from our own work, not from secondhand accounts.
We live with blocking ourselves. Half of our team lives in countries with some of the strictest internet restrictions, where most familiar websites and apps do not open without a VPN. We use VPNON every day, so we know from our own experience what works and what does not. Many VPN reviews are written by authors from countries where nothing is blocked, retelling other people's tests. We test on ourselves.
We write connection guides, explain blocking, apps and protocols, and compare VPN services. Our articles are published in several languages.
How we work
- We test it ourselves. We follow our guides step by step and test apps and protocols on real networks, including networks with blocking. Each article says where and when we tested.
- We date our facts. Prices, rankings and tests have a date. When an article changes substantially, its update date changes too.
- We do not overpromise. We never write "all websites", "100% anonymity" or "always works": no VPN can guarantee that.
- We disclose our interest. VPNON is our service. In rankings and comparisons we rate it by the same criteria as everyone else and state clearly that it is our product.
Authors. Blog articles are written by Adam Jensen, the pen name of one of our authors. Guides and unsigned articles are prepared by the editorial team.
